Updated July 6, 2010 Vitamins are necessary today because the vitamins in food today are very poor and the nutritional value of factory farm foods are depleted plus the chemicals added are harmful. The food supply today is all about profits not food and good nutrition and the Doctor is right we need to supplement our diet.
It does not take a rocket scientist to know that any food in a box is not healthy because it is chemically treated, genetically modified and plastic foods. We need vitamins despite the scientific studies funded by factory farms and chemical producers.
Vitamin D, Vitamin C and Vitamin E are the basics and a probiotic for proper digestion is mandatory today for adults, kids and older adults we all need supplements to stay healthy. If your doctor prescribes a drug because you feel tired, that is not the way to go. A good high grade multiple vitamin from a health food store is a big bonus to help you stay healthy and keep your immune system in top shape.

Never noticed that Vitamin D was gay. But 20 years ago when I was watching this ad I had no idea. Listening to this stuff is awesome. Gen Y punks today have no idea how awesome this stuff was. It shaped who we are today. Just a brilliant post.

Agreed. I was watching these in the early 1980s on a local community TV channel in South Australia. If they were still kicking around in the 90s then they got the most out of them.
